Installation of Aircon

Installation of Aircon

The time has come, for a new member of the family to introduce itself - Aircon. As important as a family member being there whenever you need it and always being loyal to you, your air conditioning system has to be properly installed at the right positions. If these are not followed, the system may end up having poor performance.

Choosing the right position for installation.

1 Choosing the right position for installation.

A strong wall will provide lesser vibrations when the unit is operating, resulting in a quieter operation. Our friendly and professional technicians will advise and go through with you the ideal positions to install it in each room. This way, you will have the best performance of your air conditioner and shortest drainage route to ensure less chances of it getting choked and having water leakages.

Rear mounting plates

2 Rear mounting plates

We will use a spirit level (balancing device) to ensure your aircon is slanted very slightly towards the direction of drainage to promote the flow of water but not too much that your aircon is visibly slanted.

Fixation of outdoor stainless steel brackets

3 Fixation of outdoor stainless steel brackets

We use stainless steel as it does not rust easily and is more than enough to withstand the outdoor unit’s weight. Holes for outdoor brackets will be aligned to ensure the outdoor unit is straight and not slanted.

Connection of copper pipes to the indoor and outdoor unit

4 Connection of copper pipes to the indoor and outdoor unit

Flaring (wides the end of the copper pipe) must be made to allow the copper pipes to connect to each other perfectly and fastened. It has to be fastened correctly as doing so too tightly can cause the flared portion to crack and doing so too lightly, the joints will not be perfectly sealed in which both circumstances gas leak occurs.
